I mentioned last week that I want to get back in shape. Desires and plans are all well and good, but it’s the follow-through that counts.
So this morning Andy and I went to the nearby track and walked/jogged a few laps. It was kind of spur-of-the-moment; we didn’t even leave the house until around 9 AM. I do recall liking the earlier mornings, when Kingston is just waking up and the sky is doing some pretty marvelous things.
Exercising regularly makes such a difference for me in terms of mood regulation, energy, and decreased anxiety. Right away, I feel more vibrant and full of possibility. Yay for self-motivation!
