Reflections Throughout New York City

New York City Reflections - Sweet and Savoring [photo by Andy Milford]

Reflections have always been one of my favorite photography subjects. Here is a collection of New York City photos all taken at weird angles, distorting reality and adding a touch of other worldliness to scenes of my favorite city.

These two abstract ones are in the Temple of Dendur reflecting pool inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art:

Andy snapped this as we were walking next to somebody carrying a mirror- so clever and such great timing!

These are amazing! I love that he thought to take a photo next to the mirror. Was it a very big mirror?
    And the puddles are exquisite.

It was a regular full-length mirror, like one you might find at Target to put in your bedroom.
Puddles are my favorite for sure!

I completely agree! Every time I go down there I either return to someplace I love or discover somewhere new that I haven’t spent any time in yet. Next time we’re going to explore Staten Island- more than just the ferry terminal, that is πŸ™‚
